Credit for this challenge goes to Dragondancer, an MPA user from 2015, though the idea has been tweaked some.
This is an oceanic-themed weight loss challenge where you are competing against yourself to rise through the levels and go from whale to mermaid. You will post starting at the "whale" level with zero points, and make daily updates (preferably with 1 post that you edit daily for each level; eg 1 post for whale, edit in your daily points, then make a new one for your walrus logs, and so on) detailing the points that you acquired. This is a forgiving challenge to help keep ourselves accountable and motivated and eventually evolve into a siren. <3

NET CALORIES
negative = 7

EXERCISE
for every 10 minutes high intensity : 1 (things that make you sweat, burn, and pant)
for every 10 minutes low intensity : 0.5 (things that just get you moving, but still real exercise)

13-14= 4
11-12 = 3
9-10 = 2
8 = 1
less than 8 = 0

BONUS
Vitamin = 1 (only 1 point per day)
These are all worth 1 point but you get a maximum of 3 points per day even if you did more than 3 things:
-30+ minutes working on an art project/practicing an instrument/learning a language/something similar
-avoiding a bad habit that you struggle with (i.e. not smoking if you're quitting)
-practicing a good habit that you struggle with (i.e. flossing if you never remember to floss)
So if you spent half an hour playing the violin, you would earn one pt; if you did not bite your nails, you would earn one more pt; if you flossed daily you would earn one more pt for a total of 3. This helps you grow creatively and replace bad habits with good ones!
